Africa’s Ultimate Innovation Arena for High School Students

This year, over 100,000 teens from seven countries will step up to tackle the continent’s biggest challenges and pitch their boldest ideas. The two national winners in each country will have the opportunity to represent their country during the international competition in Morocco.

How it works

The 2026 edition of Schule Z unfolds in two exciting stages: a national round in each participating country, followed by an international round in Morocco where the finalists come together for the ultimate competition

Pre-selection

Teams are first chosen within each participating high school, with every school selecting one team to represent them in the competition

National competition

Ten standout teams in each country will pitch their projects at the national competition, with the top two from every country earning a place in the international final in Morocco

International Round

Fourteen teams from seven countries pitch their startups to expert judges and a live audience, with top teams winning awards for innovation and impact.

The Schule Z’s experience is one of the most impactful things they can do as a teenager — starting and launching their own company.
